Default MIRPA (Meadowdale International Raceway Preservation Assoc.

For anyone interested in a classic ghost track in, Meadowdale in Carpentersville, IL, the 1st Saturday is always the monthly MIRPA Cars and Coffee meeting in Cary, IL. Also in Feb. is the annual banquet, this year with guests Johnny Rutherford and David Hobbs on Feb 3 in Arlington Heights, IL! The events are open to even non-members, and we invite any and all race fans to visit! The car show in Sep. on the old Meadowdale Track is hard to beat as well!

"Meadowdale Raceway was built in 1958 north of Carpentersville, Illinois, to attract development to the suburbs of Chicago. It is located at the intersection of Illinois Route 31 and Huntley Road."

I had my C6 on that corner about where that white tent is last year! I worked for a couple hours shuttling people to the parking lot for the effort. This is a show I started going to about 4 years ago, and now joined MIRPA! I trophied in 2016 with my '78 Corvette Pace.....

Because of our club presence a few years back, they decided to create "Corvette Corner" and each year there are more and more of us down there.....
