Seeking Humphrey Chevrolet Contact / Milwaukee
Does anyone have contact information for any former employee of Humphrey Chevrolet in Milwaukee from 1967?
Specifically - at the very first Superbowl in 1967, MVP Bart Starr was awarded a 1967 Goodwood Green Corvette. We have been working Bart's agent on the history of the car for something planned for this year's Superbowl (and yes they are in touch with the current owner of that car), however - no one seems to know if Bart every owned that Corvette (neither he nor his wife have a recollection of owning it). Hoping someone at that dealership would know more as that's where the car came from.
Thanks for any leads! Message me here or email me at katie@corvettemuseum.org or 270-467-8846.

He did! He took the 2nd one, and then donated it to benefit the Rawhide Ranch for Boys. But the first one no one seems to know what happened to it right after the Superbowl. It's thought that perhaps he didn't accept the gift due to taxes but looking for official confirmation. He doesn't remember unfortunately.

"Luckily, I had brought cash with and we agreed upon a price and made a deal. It was several thousand dollars less than she wanted for it, but her mechanic friend told her it was a fair price for the car. I knew it was very had for Christine to sell it, but she wanted to help her daughter get through college. Christine was a very committed parent. We loaded the car, said goodbye, and I returned home.
After returning home, I lifted the car on the hoist and looked it over. It was a very nice original car, but needed restoration. I then removed the fuel tank and, to my surprise, it still had the tank sticker on it. I wiped the dust off and I saw the name B. STARR on the bottom of the tank sticker. The sticker legibly read, "Courtesy Delivery - B. Starr"."
