Well the excessive humidity has caused everything in my 3rd car garage to "sweat" including my Corvette. So off came the cover today. I'll detail it in a few days (if it stays above 40) and then I'll try to change the oil. Have to move some lawn furniture to do that.

And now after all this rain the last 24 hours with 60 degree temps in Chi-Town and all the snow having been melted and more importantly all the salt having been completely washed away, the temps have now plummeted into freezing temps., guaranteeing that 1 billion tons of fresh salt will be all over the roadways just in time for rush hour!
Hmmm, just got up and the snow over night did not happen and freezing rain does not look that bad but I would be shocked if fresh salt was not thrown over night on exit ramps and other elevated surfaces at a minimum but we shall see as the day evolves how much fresh salt was thrown out. If hardly anything, the Viper will be out this weekend (if it stays dry) and the Rustang GT will most most likely be out for sure.
The good news is:
Just 39 days now until April 1st and only 28 days until the first day of spring (March 20th)!

Unfortunately, all the streets in Elmhurst and I-290 W in the west suburbs and I-294 ramps were bombarded with TONS of new salt!
BUT if it rains on Saturday fairly good the Sunday looks like a fair game day to bring out the Mean, Green, Venom Machine and your Supersonic C7 Z.
Jeff, glad to hear everything went great with your surgery.
Let the countdown begin:
Just 38 days now until April 1st and only 27 days until the first day of spring (March 20th)!

Had mine out yesterday. 1st time I drove it other than home from the dealer to the garage. But I was super careful given summer tires and 40F temperature. And at the test drive in December I felt the rear get loose without stepping on it at all. I was lucky to get that warning after driving

Went out in the garage and took a good look at the cover today!
One of my incisions is leaking pretty good, doctors say it's just the body doing it's job of getting rid of what it doesn't need. Little strange, but effective!
One week removed from surgery and it's amazing how good I feel!
Anxious to get behind the wheel!!

Mean Green Venom Machine is Loose.............
With the roads getting cleaned up fairly well from yesterday's rain the Mean Green Viper ACR Machine came out this afternoon for the first time since December. Man, how I love that one off bad *** Machine. Ripped up I-290 W in the West Suburbs and North Ave. Got caught in some late afternoon rain around 3:30 pm that was not expected to hit until 6pm. Car was dirty anyways and needed a wash, was not happy to get caught in rain now she is filthy but definitely not going to lose any sleep over it.
I just hope the rain stops soon enough late night tonight and things dry up enuff b/f he temps fall around 5 a.m., so they don't throw down fresh salt, as the high 50s and 40 are predicted for all of next week (I think winter is just about done)!
Let the countdown continue:
