AND FOR JIMMY...

Chrome and Coffee, April 14 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Iron Gate Motor Plaza, 2212 Ferry Road, Naperville, IL
We are back outside for Chrome and Coffee at Iron Gate, held rain or shine! The April Marque is Viper/MOPAR but all makes and models are welcome. There will be FREE Coffee and Donuts at the Iron Gate Motor Plaza - check the signs for location. Have questions about owning a condo? Stop in the Iron Gate office at the end of the drive in building 2228, Unit 101. Chrome and Coffee is an informal open house with car talk, donuts…

Perfect weather today (Friday) and all weekend and if the forecast weekend holds up will be the second full weekend in a row that my Viper ACR will be out, and the roads all clear of salt now after this weeks rain.

Played a little hookie from work today (its great being the boss) and blasted out in the Viper to do some Skeet Shooting this afternoon (perfect hot rod and shooting weather).

Gotta Love it, looks like Spring is coming early and old man winter is on his way out!

Let the countdown continue:

Just 29 days now until April 1st and only 18 days until the first (official) day of spring (March 20th)!

It was a great weekend, had the Viper out the entire time, and enjoyed my 3 favorite passions, GOD, cool and fast cars, and firearms. Friday Viper was out and went skeet shooting, Saturday Viper out all day and went skeet shooting again. Sunday went to church to Worship GOD first, then had the Viper out all day and shot my Colt AR 15 with its new red/green dot optics at Gat Guns state of the art 75 yard, indoor rifle range.

Let the countdown continue:

Just 27 days now until April 1st and only 16 days until the first (official) day of spring (March 20th)!

Did the same, drove it all weekend including a trip to church. Let's see what today's weather brings.

Yup, if its rains into the early hours this morning the temps. look like the will be cold enough for there to be some snow/freezing rain, which means their a good chance that they re-salt all the roadways (which would suck), but it is still winter after all and would not be a big surprise. Hopefully we dodge a bullet and the rain stops b/f the temps. drop overnight.

The good news is that:

Just 26 days now until April 1st and only 15 days until the first (official) day of spring (March 20th)!

This is NW Illinois! It will not be spring for another 6 weeks. We are expecting ~3" of snow and freezing rain tonight and tomorrow. My toys are still sleeping.

Hey Len, good to hear from you buddy, hope you and yours are doing well.

You say this every year on my thread and every year on April 1st all my toys are out full time on salt free roads.

Every year I give you the same response that if we see any snow after April 1st, its usually on elevated platforms and melted within hours, as the temps by April 1st are on the average well into the 40s and 50s.

Take care buddy, get those toys out by May b/c this life is just too short.

If that was your car it would not be me who would be on the ledge.

I know you have been away from C6 for a while but did you ever open one's hood?

Of course, I owned a C6 Z06 for three years (a black one as you may recall). I also recall something similar happened to Just J in his sunset orange C6 Z many years back.

Why do you ask and (what's the big mystery)?

Peaked in the garage, still there...

Put the key in the ignition. 7,434 miles. Almost time to sell it!
