Yeah this has been a very cold start to April but even with these colder temps any snow that we may get will be melted within 24 hours.

Although I agree with you guys that this Spring and Early April has really been crappy cold weather it really was an easy March as we could have got the crapped knocked out of us with several big winter storms like the east coast did (in March).
What burns my azz the most is that the very small dusting of snow and minimal amount of freezing rain caused the entire Chicagoland area to get totally re-salted (again) heavily on all the major roadways and highways!
Now we have to wait for warmer temps again and more rain to come to wash this fresh salt away! Winter is certainly being really stubborn that's for sure.

The re-salted the living crap out of us for just a slight dusting of snow that did not even stick to the concrete and an extremely minimal amount of freezing rain.

Driving home from a sales call last night heading North on Rt 83 from rt 55, I saw a bunch of flashing lights ahead of me. I thought there was an accident , wrong 2 salt trucks dumping salt. Guess they have to use up all the salt so the can budget for more salt next year.

So we got snow last night, and they salted.
It's therefore good I was out yesterday in the evening and drove the Vette to Ann Arbor and back for fun. Back into the garage until at least Wednesday.

Thank GOD for my Rustang as I will drive that when its otherwise dry out fresh salt or no fresh salt, as it makes dealing with the crap weather a lot easier, having a fun car to drive still (especially for the weekend) instead of my dedicated daily winter driver which is not fun to drive.

All I can say with these temps still around the freezing mark like its the end of Feb. early March, thank GOD for my 2016 Mustang GT that I will drive when its DRY out (salt or no salt), without that car this crap weather would really have me frustrated! Probably put over 300 miles this weekend blasting out to Marengo Guns on Saturday afternoon and then driving her to Milwaukee today to see the Cubs kick the Brewers *** at Miller Park. 64 degrees this Thursday and a high of 72 predicted for this Friday, end of the week can't get here fast enough (as we may even get a dusting of snow tonight). We need lots or rain to clean up the roads and highways as there is a TON of salt all over as you guys know.
