As stated each year, this type of crap weather can happen in early April but when it does, and snows like today, it melts immediately b/c the ground temp and air temp. is still to warm for it to amount to anything (even though it still feels like winter outside).
But let's not forget the forecast in Chi-town for Weds., Thursday and Friday is 60s, 70s and 70(s) degrees respectfully. The reality is even though its been a CHIT spring winter is over with going forward from here.

Jimmy, sure you mention the 70 on Sundays forecast, but you dismissed the snow in the forecast on Monday!
I'm hoping for July 4th!!

Well the recent little dusting of snow and a little rain we had the other day has pretty much cleaned up all the streets and highways of the majority of all the salt that was just on the road 2 days ago. Now if only they don't throw down any new salt this Sunday when we might get another dusting of snow then we will be in good shape.

About time we get a great day, enjoy it while we can as the weekend looks like crap.
Took full advantage of today and had both the Mustang GT and Viper out and Viper was dirty, so got her all washed up after taking a very spirited blast down I-290 East and West and I-355 North and South.

Well what the heck took you so long Don Corleon, and where the heck is that C7 Z06 we discussed last car season that you are way overdue to purchase?

I keep trying to find another home with a larger garage but miss them because they go under contract before I even get a chance to see them. In a perfect world I would have gotten the home in Brooke Ridge and keep my C4 and added a C7 GS and GT350.
Life is short, one friend died from cancer April 3rd, at age 52, he was a Lynwood cop and another friend also has cancer it’s not killing him but the pain he has in his back from bones that were weakened and then broke, limits his mobility. He can’t get into my car it’s too difficult for him. He is 57. Now he wishes he had done more. As a result I have changed what I do a little. I don’t work as much overtime as I had in the past, all they had to do was pick up the phone because I’m always home. Now I try to do things I want to do like spending time with the little bugger with my car and her brother. Cruise nights when they start and even another car. Life is short so I hope everybody reading tries to do what ever it is that makes them happy
I can’t remember how this goes but there is a saying that goes “Spend some now and save some in case you live a long time” or something like that.

And I agree that life is short. Both of my parents died from cancer before I turned 30 so that made me realize how quickly things can come to an end and you've got to enjoy the time you've got. Sorry to hear about your friend(s) and their battles with cancer.

Nice C4. That's awesome that you've owned it for 28 years. I've been a fan of C4's since I was a kid and saw that Michael Jordan drove them. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...t-in-a-c4.html
