BUT, it's in the high 40s tomorrow and it will all be melted by 12 pm noon, then followed by the 50s and 60 after that next 7 days, so we just need a good rain after this ***** melts tomorrow and I bet this is winter's last gasp.

But also do recall a dusting of snow in May a few years ago! Also recall going to opening day @ Road America in 2016 & it was 32 early.
Looks like it will be 50 or better for the next 10 days. Mine comes back out this weekend.

Out by Elmhurst and around North Ave. and Route 83 I did not notice a lot of new salt (if any) after winter's last gasp last night.
What are you guys seeing out on the streets and highways today regarding fresh salt put down as a result of the dusting of snow we got over Weds. night?

Salt Update. I was just on I-290 West from Elmhurst to Addison and Medinah, IL, and did not notice any fresh new salt powder laid down from last night.
Mayby they really did run out of salt!

The Byron drag strip is only about 4 or 5 miles form my house. They are finally going to open this weekend! Both Vettes have been out, and with a little luck, God willing and the creek don't rise, the Harley may go out this afternoon!
