Tuesday Treat – Firehouse Dogs cruise night, Schaumburg (IL)
I’m not that big on talking up local cruise nights (figure you can find those on yer own). Stumbled across a nice one held on Tuesdays from 5pm – 8pm. Brought to you by the Lone Wolves Car Club (no meetings, no dues, no BS) and featuring a DJ who has the ability to play music without feeling the need to yap in a microphone all night.
Cruisers get a 10% discount on food and it was delicious! I had a Chicago style hot dog with fries, a tamale and a strawberry shake for under 9 bucks.
Right next door is “Almost home dog rescue” (where I spent half the evening) so you can get you a pooch too!
