NCM is the way to go. I have both my vettes with them and it was hundreds cheaper than Hagerty for better NCM coverage. Never had a claim, but have used the roadside assistance a couple times. Great customer service and no hassle both times.

I have my 09 insured via NCM, 6K miles/year, drive to work, and agreed value. My only claim has been for a windshield repair and it was seemless. I had my 94 insured with NCM for many years before selling it

If memory serves me right, NCM insurance doesn't allow or cover if you use the car for errands or shopping. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I’ve had NCM insurance on my C5 for about four years. For the level of coverage and an agreed value on the car, I have not been able to find a more reasonably priced policy. I too have not had any claims so I cannot speak on that aspect of their service.

on my 4th 'Vette with NCM................. mileage can vary, rates don't change as much as expected.................. also have AAA for daily drivers and NCM much better rate and coverage than AAA on a Vette in a cold weather state.............

I just switched insurance companies in March. I'm 25 and was with Auto Owner's for my 98' Vette and 98' Firebird it was $2300 a year! AAA gave me a ridiculous quote of something like $2000/ year. I ended up switching to Progressive with same limits across the board and now pay $1500 a year for both cars.. Still a rip off.. but so is everything in this state when it comes to insurance/ tag fees/ roads.. However, it looks like I need to research NCM for when my policy expires in September based on what has been said in this thread!

I'm getting a decent rate through
progressive now $500/yr for 6 months full coverage and 6 months comp only (storage).
Going to check on Grundy when this policy comes up in august
