Default St louis tire shop

I'm buying a 96 ce in st louis and it needs tires before I bring it back to Texas. Is there a go to tire place in st louis everybody brings their corvettes to?

I'll be out in the ofallon area.

My folks live out there and there is a plaza the my dad uses and they get good reviews. But if there is a go to shop that sponsors one of the corvette clubs I'm all ears.

Thanks

I've had tires installed at Plaza Tire Service in O'Fallon on two of my cars, was satisfied with their service and price.

We have used the one off of N and Lake Saint Louis Blvd where it dead ends into N. Thats were I was leaning towards.

After using google instead of the search engine on here I found out a lot of guys recommend Zisser tire and there is one in Wentzville by the GM plant.

I will be making some calls on Monday.

I work at the Wentzville GM plant. Several coworkers have used Zisser and recommend.

I've used the Firestone store in Chesterfield Valley for years and they've always done a good job. They recently upgraded to the newest, all-doing, all-knowing mounting machine spec'd by Firestone corporate.

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I believe I am going to trailer the car down here to Texas.

It hasnt been driven much in the past 10 years and the coolant is 18 years old. Has a recent oil change and 3 year old battery. I dont see that the serpentine belt has every been changed. Brake fluid is older than I would prefer.

Plus I only have 3 days off work to get from Dallas to STL, get the car, put tires on it, give it a once over, and drive 650 miles in the heat of the summer down here. I think its a safer bet to trailer it.
