I guess maybe I asked for a little too much rain to wash the salt off the roads. I've got a little over 250 miles on the odometer and will hopefully hit the magic 500 mile mark in a week or so . . . if it ever stops raining.
Finally had a great summer day today, 83 and sunny, and took full advantage by taking my 565 cubic inch 1967 Camaro to the Downers Grove cruise night which was huge, with literally hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people walking through admiring the cars and kicking off summer tonight!

Great video capturing the great cruise night last night at Downers Grove Bill (Yukon "Don" Corleone). Love the music, reminds me of the Iconic Steve McQueen movie Bullit, very similar sounding.

They had less than 3/16 of an inch here in Arizona and it was a big deal. Had it all over the news. People in a panic driving on the highway. But it was a dry rain. Today it is 109 time to jump in the pool! Going to take a spin in my modded Z4 before the next monsoon hits.
Finished staining my deck yesterday. Had a tiny window open up to allow it to dry, to stain it, and to allow the stain to properly dry.
Now rain every day for the next two weeks
