Default Driving your Vette, Supercar or other Bad Azz car in December Part XXXXXVVVVV

Well Praise GOD that the roads are all salt free now after all that rain and melting snow, and dry and clean enough for your some of us die hard, go fast, high performance car nuts, to drive their beloved fun cars in December. I'll tell you this, the fact that I was able to take my Porsche 911 Turbo S to a deposition this afternoon in Joliet, IL, just made my day 1000% more enjoyable! The next 7 days shows sun and cold which mean more dry roads to be driven on and the Green Mean, Venom Machine, will be out next, as I can't have her feeling neglected. Thank you LORD!

Bill, get that Vette of your out my friend before the next winter storm hits and mucks up the road for weeks! Better yet, go buy that C7 GS you been talking about or C7 Z06
,as both are such a bang for the buck right now it's not even funny and life is just to darn short. As you know this is the best time of year to buy a vette local and get a smoking deal (closer to the end of the year the better the deals are) and you don't want to be the richest guy in the graveyard, as you have discussed with your Consiglieri : ) before at the Downers Grove cruise nights the last 2 summers.

Mine is driven all year round. Except when there is a ton of snow out. That is when I take the wife's jeep out.

Was downtown Chicago with the wife the last 2 days celebrating our 20 Year Wedding Anniversary. Once we came home at 12:30 pm this afternoon had the Green Venom Machine out the rest of the day. Always great to steal a December day from old man winter looking for more of the same tomorrow (Sunday).

Had both the Viper and Porsche Turbo S out and about taking full advantage of these clean dry, cold, and roads this past Sat., Sunday, Monday and today (Tuesday) and several days last week too. I love it when I can steal away for 4 straight days from winter in December.

You guys who don't drive your vettes and other fun sport cars during winter time when its cold out, but the roads are dry and mostly salt free, don't know what your missing and how taking that trickle charger off and stretching your baby's legs, and giving yourself some mental enjoyment at the same time, really helps pass winter go by that much faster. Try it, you might like it, just remember the roads are very cold and you have to be very well disciplined with your right foot and the accelerator.

Decided to put the final black accents on my new beloved P Car Turbo S. Blacked out the rear deck lead Turbo S Badges and the top of the rear spoiler. LOVE this car, almost as much as my beloved Mean Green Machine, and those who know me know that's A LOT of car love! Thank you GOD for your blessings!

Nothing but clear roads and sun shine for a lot of days in December so far, with the forecast this weekend looking great and the next 7 days. Why not take 5 minutes to take those tarps off, trickle chargers off, and buy another bottle of stable, and enjoy your vettes as much as you can (as we all see how fast life goes by)? It really does lead to a much better quality of life.

This is what happens when you drive your Vette in December. Actually it was November, and the snow wasn't in the forecast. It took an hour, lots of rock salt, and two people pushing to get it up my driveway and into the garage! I've turned the insurance off, and she is staying in the garage until mid March. It's killing me though.

Jim Z06,

Yeah that is frustrating as heck man and December has been cooperating MUCH more with good weather than November did, and that's why I never started a driving your car in November thread. Lol. Its strange, November acted like it was the month of December, and December has been so cooperative so far with the month almost half over, that it seems like now in December, we are having the November that we never had. Great news for those who drive their babies in the winter when the road conditions are clear, dry and mostly salt free.

90% of you guys with your babies sitting in the garage under a car cover and a trickle charger don't know what your missing.

This weather for mid-December is INCREDIBLE and the forecast the next week headed into Christmas is just perfect (like this weekend)!

I'm officially a 10%-er

Within a mile of driving I also saw a C6 and vintage Camaro.

Yes you are my friend yes you are!

Had my 911 Turbo S out all day and at the gas station ran into a dude in his 20s with a high 9 second LSx Camaro, with full blown Hoosier Drag Slicks and Skinnies on it and what sounded to be open headers. Talked to him he was a cool dude. Talk about DIEing to be pulled over by a cop in the west suburbs on North Ave around I-355. Lol. And I thought the summer tires on my Viper and Turbo S were bad on cold pavement. Lol.

Had her out all weekend and didn't bother putting the charger back on because there is no snow in sight.
