Hi all, anyone have any recommendations for good paint shops in the southeast Michigan area? I'd like to get some quotes to have my daily driver repainted. It's a black car, but after 100k+ highway miles the front end looks kind of grey with all of the faint knicks and rock chips. All the other panels have enough blemishes at this point that I'm just thinking about having the whole exterior repainted black. Anyone have good experiences with places in the area? I got one ballpark estimate of ~$6k from a Chevy dealer, but would like to see how that compares to some other reputable places.
Before Autometric was bought out by ServiceKing I had parts of cars repainted there. Friend of mine works at (and his family owns) B & B Collision in Royal Oak, they did some paint work on my last insurance claim (on my Ford Focus) and it looks great.
