I used Mercury for a while and then went back to Safari and they're gone.

Same. And it reappears everytime I go to a new screen or refresh.

Seems to be better for me. Didn't do anything to my I-pad.

Yes, now I get a banner accross the screen bottom and popups. And the best part is if you resize the screen before the popup deploys, it freezes the screen and you can't get to the "X" to kill it.

I'm not seeing the issue with my android. Must be something affecting only the most recent iDevices. I'll alert the tech folks.

I've been having the same problem with my iPod 4. It has become such an annoyance that I have cut way back on my browsing.

You need to test this on an IPhone. The ads have ruined this site. Advertising on steroids. Enjoy the revenue while you can because you're driving users to other sites where this problem doesn't exist.

I think this site should be used in schools to teach students what happens when marketing over extends.

I've just spent 5 minutes on the site and can't take anymore. I'm out.

If it were IB generating and profiting from the ads you reference, you'd think they'd want all of us to see them -- not just those who use the iPhone.

The tech folks have been made aware of the issue.

Would you possibly be able to provide me with a screenshot of what you're seeing please? Are you using the mobile style, or the full version of the site?

cheers,
robb

I am using the mobile site on an IPhone 4S with the latest operating system. Today no pop ups and no page curl at the bottom. Please PM me your email and when it happens again I'll send it.

Or if you don't give a crap, don't PM me. Had the pop up come up after I had resized the screen again yesterday. The screen takes on a blach hue and freezes the resizing action. You can't shrink the screen to kill the pop up. You must use the safari navigation arrows to back out.
