Default CorvetteForum New Style FAQ

You may have noticed that CorvetteForum recently released a redesign of the forums. Some have had questions about the redesign.

New Style/Theme Overview

You'll notice that the old Corvette cars, representing whatever Corvette generation you selected for the style/theme, has been replaced by the Corvette logo to represent the Corvette generation.

When you visit the forums, you'll note the style/theme selector, representing each Corvette generation, can be changed by clicking on one of the C1 - C7 links located in the Welcome box as shown in the illustration below:

When you click on one of the C1 - C7 links, the CorvetteForum logo in the upper left corner will change to reflect that Corvette generation as shown below:

C7

C6

C5

C4

C3

C2

C1

Additionally when you click on one of the C1 - C7 links in the Welcome area, the links to the left side (for non-premium members) under the "Community" will also update to provide quick links for that Corvette generation as shown in the illustration example below:

Troubleshooting

If clicking on one of the C1 - C7 links does not work in that the links to the left don't reflect the correct Corvette generation and the Corvette logo in the upper left corner also doesn't reflect the correct Corvette generation, first make sure that the "Default 2014" style/theme is selected. Go to the bottom of the page and in the lower left corner should be "Default 2014". If it's "Lightweight", change to "Default 2014" and then click on one of the C1 - C7 links in the Welcome box.

If you're continuously getting logged out, you may need to delete all CorvetteForum cookies. Please note that logging out does not clear all CorvetteForum cookies. Some browsers allow you to singly delete cookies while others require you delete them all - even for other websites. After clearing all CorvetteForum cookies, revisit the website, make sure to use the Remember Me option, log in, make sure the "Default 2014" theme/style is selected in the lower-left of the page, and then try the C1 - C7 links in the Welcome box.

If the "Community" links in the left side column blend in with the background, this is due to the use of ABP extension in your browser. It may block the CSS file from loading. The CSS file is used to define the appearance of those links. The links may appear but they may be difficult to read without the CSS file loading. CorvetteForum cannot support browser extensions that alter the appearance or functionality of the website.
