I am specifically talking about the 'insert image' icon on the forum. Seems in Chrome, it just gets stuck and you can't exit out. Any fix to that?

There are a lot of Chrome users. Chrome appears to work correctly for me as shown in the attachment.

You may need to clear your cache or you have a plugin that is altering the appearance and/or functionality of the site.

Yes, the Cancel button works to Cancel the process and close the uploader.

As you can see, I was able to also upload a test image using Google Chrome.

Like I said, sounds like you're using a plugin that is altering the appearance or functionality of the site. Or you need to clear your cache.
