Mine did that when the forum logged me out for some reason. I logged back in and selected the C1/C2 community and it's back to normal. Look up to the right and see if your name is there or if it says "user name"

Likely they just updated the forum software and everyone had to login again.

Bless you, John and you all for alerting on this - I'm impatient with IT crap that thinks I care more about it than the product.

I agree with the brilliant MBA comment.

Once you log in, it seems to go away after you hit hit the minimize (minus symbol) in the upper right.
One time, I had to go to a thread to get to my log in as I couldn't get to the minimize symbol.

John, I got rid of it by clicking, but more importantly, how come they demoted you to "junior member" above your stars?

Very unlikely for an M.B.A. - far more likely for a PIA

The Ask Question box has been around for several months and only appears for those not logged in. It appears to case rage for some. It's also been discussed many times to state that it appears only when not logged in because one of the top most asked questions from new members or Guests is "how do I post?" or "how do I join?". That's the purpose of the Ask Question box - another avenue for those who can easily use Facebook but don't know how to use a software platform that has been fairly the same for some 17 years (vBulletin).

The solution is to simply be logged in and stay logged in.

Also, everyone was logged out this afternoon. Not exactly a software upgrade but a change that required the sessions to be reset.

With all the other problems that abound in life, this was only a minor inconvenience. True, a PIA, but only a minor one. J.T., thanks for the explanation.
