Remember this suggestion we're providing is not just for CorvetteForum or even IB-owned websites. Chrome's Google didn't develop this feature within their browser for just CorvetteForum. This is a beta feature within the Chrome browser that's there because of growing amount of issues that can occur with rouge ads.
Looks like I get to test my own theory. I no more than hit the enter key on the Edge post and it popped up on my phone. LMAO

I checked Chrome to make sure that the flag was still enabled and it was. So, I went my settings cleared the data, cache and history for Chrome. Next I did forced shut down of Chrome and rebooted my phone. No more pop up ads. If it happens again I will shut Chrome down and use Edge for awhile.

I have been getting it bad, only when I'm on the forum. I have tried 3 different browsers and it does it on everyone.

But did you follow the instructions as posted several times in this thread and other threads? The one outlining to enable an option within Chrome if you're using the Chrome browser?

Using Chrome, e nter the following URL in the address bar:
chrome://flags/#enable-framebusting-needs-sameorigin-or-usergesture

Then enable the highlighted option.

If that doesn't work, you're either not properly doing the aforementioned procedure or you may have something else.

Not sure I understand. The suggestion proposed for Chrome only works for Chrome. Much like any setting within Chrome only works for Chrome, IE settings work for IE, etc., etc. So if you enabled the option within Chrome, it's only going to work for Chrome and not Edge.

I have an iPhone 6s. Safari is severely affected by the problem, so I downloaded Chrome (version 63, the latest available in the app store)

The "chrome://...." option listed above does not present any highlighted option. In fact it took me while to figure out that a framebusting option was supposed to be available to me, but it is not. Prior to that, I wasn't sure what "Then enable the highlighted option" meant, since no options were highlighted on Chrome, and these solutions never mention what is supposed to be highlighted.

To date, I have this issue on 4 IB forums in which I participate. I saw the Help posted on the Vette forum so I thought I'd be in luck, but alas the solution above doesn't solve anything for me.

I enabled the framebusting, and have since gotten several notifications that Chrome prevented a redirect, so I can only surmise it is working as intended.

An alternative is to run Firefox with umatrix, but that requires more technological knowledge.

I was getting the same pop up. I cleared everything but now I don't have sense enough to change my galaxy3 from mobile to desktop. I had it done until the reset.

I don't believe Safari on Apple has the same protection that Chrome does on Android in regard to this. If you had an Android using Chrome, enabling a feature within Chrome will stop the behavior that some rogue ads have on the Internet.

The ad team is aware of this. I'm not sure of an update at this moment.

My iPad mini started getting the “amazon gift card winner” ad starting yesterday. Never happened before. Happens about 50% of the time when I open a new forum story.

I was having it happen occasionally before, but as fireparamed posted, I’m getting it constantly now, over and over. It’s started over the past couple days.

I got this ad on the Chrome browser only at first, thought my Firefox ad blocker was stopping it, but now it happens on both, and it does popup on other sites. CF seems to be the one now.
Looking into the history its coming from us.clickgoer.redirect its up the ad department to find the offender

For me, it is only on this site and a Facebook. Bought the .99 cent iBlocker for my Ipad and so far so good.
