Thanks... I figured that out concerning the thread titles but couldn't figure out the name--I'll have to go put it to the test... LOL

Well, I checked the explanation out and while it seems plausible, it doesn't seem to hold true in most cases. WHEN I post for the first time in a thread, the page refreshes with my post and my name blinks from black to gray. Fair enough. However, there are still some people whose name appears in black and others in gray yet, obviously, they have visited the thread as both have posted. For example:



Why would joemessman (who is ALWAYS grayed when I see his name) be gray and the guy above him in black?

This isn't a big deal, obviously, I was just curious as I could see no pattern to it...
