My latest experience with Amazon popups, etc
#23
It's been happening to me for several days now. The site while using safari is pretty unusuable. I'm seeing the same ads and the same redirects everyone else here has posted.

My iPhone has the Amazon popup so much that CF is unusable.
My search engine is Safari, is there a way to switch to a different system and avoid the popups?
If I turn off JavaScript with that stop them? If so, what features will I lose?
I do a lot of internet viewing on my phone and CF is the ONLY site I've found with this problem.

Internet Brands is aware of the issue and has replied acknowledging the issue and trying to resolve it. As far as turning off the ads, although this site is free for members to access and use it is not free to operate. Ads help pay to keep CorvetteForum online and free to use. Let's please try to keep a little calm over a website issue for those accessing using mobile devices as there are other ways to access while the issue is being addressed.

I started a thread on this very annoying problem that is only on this forum. I was told to post a screen shot and my thread locked. Here’s a screen shot. Really aggravating!

Apologies for the unwanted redirects, everyone. As a few of you have already noted, they are occurring due to a malicious ad unintentionally being served by one of our ad partners. The ad loads like a normal banner ad should, but then includes a line of code that redirects your entire browser to a new site. We have tools in place to block such ads and can continue to improve their accuracy with more information on the ones you're seeing. When you're next redirected, please post a screenshot of where you're taken here in this thread, as well as a screenshot of any pop-up message you may receive before the redirect occurs.
Thanks!
Thanks!

These pop up redirects have made it incredibly challenging to use this site. I have zero problems on ANY other site. If I need to download special apps or use different browsers something is clearly wrong with this site. I would have looked at the other responses but I’m usually redirected before I’m able.

My apologies for the continued inconvenience of these rogue ads. As J T noted, these ads are not exclusive to CorvetteForum, but we are working to minimize their impact as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, the issue isn't so much that it's just a single bad ad or provider. Instead, it's legitimate ads being injected with malicious code. This means that even when we block a single provider, the rogue ad code jumps to a different one almost immediately.
That said, we have implemented filtering software to help us better identify and preemptively block ads that may include the malicious code, and are working on further safeguards should rogue ads continue to slip through.
If you continue to experience the redirects, please keep sharing screenshots here. Thanks!

No popups in my iPhone for the last three days.
Hoping they don’t come back.

We believe we have isolated the root source of the rogue ads and are now filtering them out, so you should see a significant decrease in the number of pop-ups and redirects. Please let us know if any continue to appear on your end.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Getting requests do a Flash Update now. I read multiple forums, blogs and websites and CF is the ONLY one this happens on.
