Default OT The "check out what's new" pop up

Does anyone know how to stop the "check out what's new" pop up every time you click on a posting?
Thanks
Steve

Annoying, very annoying.

Is there a patch in the works to allow a user to toggle off the disruptive pop-up?

The team found and fixed the issue. You may need to dismiss the pop-up (Exit link) one final time. The feature is cookie-based but recently was not setting correctly within the browser to remember the option. If the issue continues, you may need to clear your browser's cookies. If CorvetteForum is bookmarked as a favorite, you may need to deselect Preserve Favorites data to clear cookies.

It will if you clear the browser's cookies. Either intentionally or a 3rd party program doing "clean-up".

The What's New needs to know to not appear. It does that by storing a cookie in the browser when you select the Exit link. But if you clear browser's cookies, then it's forgotten and appears next activity requiring you to dismiss it again.
