I have my page count set to 40 posts. I noticed a few months back that many times, every time in fact, I hit that next page with Infinite Scroll, the page locks up and I get the message "This page is slowing down Firefox. <something, something>, press stop." If I don't press the stop button in the bar at top it literally locks the entire tab. It won't scroll down or even back up. I can't click a different site from my bookmarks toolbar. I have to either press the stop, and then, for some idiot reason that allows it to load the next page. Or I have to close out that tab entirely. This is still a fairly new phenomenon. I could try increasing my posts per page but I thought it was weird that I never had this problem for years, then just six months or so ago it started doing this. I don't notice it on any other sites.

Anybody seen this? Solution?
This is an issue with Firefox related to some change they made last year. If I recall correctly, a similar issue was reported on atleast one other large site and it was filed as a bug with Firefox. Unfortunately, Firefox is not very timely with (some) fixes but they are with trivial updates. I use Firefox myself and have for a long time.
You could disable infinite scroll as that appears to work around the issue.
Thanks for the reply. Weird that it's only here and not any other site I visit, even other IB sites. But I keep threatening to switch over to Brave for a while now. This might just be the motivation I need.
