Good Bye
Just wanted to share with all of you that I have enjoyed being a part of the corvette forum this past year even though I rarely post.
My health has taken a turn for the worse and the outcome is not to good. Besides my heart attack last year I have chronic heart disease, and hypertensive heart disease.
The 40 years I've been here have been great and fathering 3 children has been the greatest joy of my life. I look back on my life and believe I have lived a good life and did the best that I could with what god gave me. I served my country for 22 years like my grandfather and his father. I've loved some wonderful women and hated some too. I've made some life long friends during my life and I have made some great pals in the corvette world even though I have meet only a couple of people on here. I got my corvette this year and have really enjoyed it alot.
I wish each and every one of you success and happiness in everything that you do and I hope that in my death it is not the end for me but only the beginning.

Richard,
First of all, thank you for serving our country! It sounds like you have lived a good life and I'm glad you got to enjoy your Vette. The outlook may not look as good as hoped, but never give up hope!
God bless and thank you for sharing with us!

Hi Richard. I'm very sorry to hear of your poor health. I'll also say, please don't give up. Some people have overcome some serious health problems. It sounds like you have lived and enjoyed a wonderful life. I pray that you can have an even longer one.
And thanks for your 22 years of service

I too suffer similarly from all your ailments, be strong and optimistic. I've survived a bypass, a stroke, and worst of all was to deal with the death of my 19 year old daughter in the hands of a drunk driver.

Keep fighting! You'll make it through, just remember, every day is at least one drive in your Corvette.
