I'm pretty new here...
Not sure why, but for some reason I wondered if Walt had been active on this forum so I did a search. Not at all surprised to come across this great tribute, he was a great guy and friend to many. Hopefully everyone will forgive me for resurrecting an old thread for a moment.
I'm pretty sure I knew him longer than anyone else here. I could tell many stories of years gone by, and could probably learn lots about his later years from people here.
Yes, he did die too early. I still remember getting the call from Theresa that he had been taken to the hospital and the shock a few hours later that he had passed away. It took me a while after it happened, but eventually I came to realize that even though he died young, he had lived life to the max and had been a positive influence on many.
I won't ramble any more, and will close by saying thanks to everyone for their kind words and great memorial for my big brother Walter.
