Lost My Wife
After 48 years, I lost my wife and my very best friend. I don't know any words to describe the way I feel. I know it will take some time, and I will be ok, but it will never be the same. I've got a bunch of grandkids and even a few great grandkids to keep me busy.

So sorry for your loss. I know what you are feeling.
I lost my Mom 6 months ago and yesterday was her birthday. I know my Dad had a tough day so my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

I'm so very sorry to hear that. It's gotta be one of the hardest if not the hardest things to face in your entire life. Yes time will help you accept her passing, but you will never get over missing your one soulmate. Being with your other family members will help you. You will eventually need to find something else to occupy and fill the void in your life. May God Bless you during this time

My wife and I have been married almost that many years and I can't imagine what it would be like to lose her. Your right life will never be the same but I'm glad you have a large family to help fill that gap in your life after losing the love of your life. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I am very sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad day before fathers day this year. Have to remember of all the wonderful times you two have spent together and thank God you two were able to be apart of each others lives.

My wife and I will celebrate 30 years on August 15th. I cannot imagine life without her or what you must be feeling. Time will make your loss more bearable. Right now, hold your family close and you will make it through. Please accept my sincerest condolences for you loss.

I haven't had to face the loss of a close friend or relative yet and I'm looking forward to it either.
It's an unfortunate phase of life to have family and friends pass on, I wish you the best.

So sorry for your loss. 48 years together is a long time. Sounds like your wife left behind the legacy of a great family so part of her lives on in them and with you.

I would like to say something profound to help you with your loss. But when I think of the possibility of loosing my wife and best friend----? Words just don't seem adequate. However the family you shared with her will indeed help you and the folks of Texas with all those big hearts will help also.
You do have one thing that no one or nothing can ever take away from you. The memories the two of you shared. Be well and heal quickly.
