Lost a great friend today...
I bought my 1991 Vette a little more than a year ago. During that time my friend's dad, who ran a repair shop here in San Antonio, really took me under his wing and showed me a lot to get her up and running.
He was always patient and kind, and never was too busy to help me understand what was happening with my car and how I could fix it. He never tried to do the work for me but would encourage me and told me... That by him showing me and explaining what to do, I could take that knowledge with me rather than just always asking someone else to do it for me.
He was not only a car enthusiast, and mechanic, but a true friend.
Thank you David... You will be missed greatly.

The very beautiful thing about having people like that in your life is that they always leave you with something. So they are never truly “gone” per say. My condolences to you and his family.
