I am so sorry for your loss. my Mom was diagnosed with GBM-IV about 14 months ago at the age of 65 and it has sucked ever since. She is at the high mark of survivability for GBM.Just be glad you had the time you did and was able to tell her you love her even though she already knew it.
Our time here can be cut too short and we need to treasure the time we have with ourselves and our loved ones.
Just know that she will always be with you.

So sorry for your loss. I lost my father just before I got married in 2002. He was 49 and died on his Harley. Losing a parent at such as young age is tough, let alone such a huge life changing event such as seeing their child getting married.
Prayers are with you.

So sorry for our loss
At the young age of 56. She had been battling cancer for several years. She was the kindest, most amazing, spiritual saint I've ever seen. I took off two weeks during Christmas to be with her. She was becoming weaker daily. She was basically dependent on me as her liver continued to fail and the swelling made her daily tasks near impossible. I will never forget every time I helped her stand she would lay her head on my chest and say "I love you". I received the call that mom had quit responding. I rushed home from work to find her lying in bed surrounded by friends and family. The doctor said she should have been gone hours ago, but was clearly waiting. I leaned down and said "I love you so much. You are the best mom I could have ever asked for. Let me know when you get there. I love you". I out my head down and prayed while holding her hand. As soon as i silently said "Amen" the nurse said "she's gone", at exactly the same time.
I don't know where I go from here. I'm 26. Just short of getting married. My kids will never have a grandmother, and she would have been a great one. My grandfather who is one of my best friends is also battling cancer and has been given 2 weeks to live. Times are hard. I have enjoyed this forum and ask for your prayers. I will continue to have faith in God.

Sorry to hear of your loss
I lost my Mom 5 years ago, alsmot to today, to cancer.
She fought the hard fight, but, it won in the end.
Rememeber her always in your heart. Always the good and not the hard times. She will always be with you, and, someday, you will see her again, I beleive that.
