This fine young man lost his battle with cancer on Thursday May 8th after a year long struggle. He Loved Corvettes and though he never had the chance to own one admired them greatly. Russell was a Computer Science Major at the University of Alabama and a member of the Million Dollar Band for the prior two years before falling ill. All I can say is he is one of the finest young men I have ever met, he and my daughter met each other in the 8th grade and remained best of friends as college students at Alabama as well. We will miss you my friend.

It's always sad to hear of someone's passing but especially for the passing of those so young.
