I'm surprised that nobody posted a notice about Ric Murphy. He was a member of this forum for about 10 years, and passed away from cancer. I am the new proud owner of his 63 SWC. He lived in the Bellevue Washington area, and I found his car for sale, here, on this forum by a family member. I was looking religiously for over 8 months, just about every day, monitoring different websites that sell corvettes. In fact, I checked out another 63 SWC in Seattle back in 2013. I knew, if the pictures were like the description of his car, it was going to have a new home in So. Ca.
I flew up to Seattle, and I knew within 5 minutes, that he took great care of his car, and it would look good in my garage. He had only driven this 63 SWC 5600 miles, in 21 years. Very clean.
Thank you Ric, for letting me buy your car - - - - I will take, as good as care, as you did. RIP
