Sorry to hear this. I'd seen this thread before but never clicked on it because he was the author, and TBH, I thought it was a joke thread.
Thanks to a thread by BROCKYJACK who mentioned his passing, I came here and realized then that it was all real.
A 77 year-old buddy of mine has been in the hospital with multiple issues since November 20. I do not expect him to get out alive.
Sometimes it really sucks being on this end of life.

My memory of Hammy was that I was in a heated arguement with a very assholish troll. Although hammy was a newb at the time, he jumped in and called a troll a troll. I never forgot that. He was

Yes David had everything written down for my mother but also saved on the computer so it was a matter of a few clicks to get on here. My mother wanted me to make to let everyone know how much joy this forum brought him. He would always talk about the different conversations you guys had. He would also bring you guys up when him and I would go out to lunch. I happen to take the picture of his "perfect spot" that appeared in an article.
I also want everyone to know that my mother spent all morning reading all of your posts. She is very grateful for everyone's condolences and responses. Thank you everyone

David and I went to battle together against a few! We had a couple of good throwdowns on the old price of GS vettes! Anyway, got to head back to the bar. The basers are getting a little restless.

Also, I could not agree more about thanks for the update posts on Hammy's passing by the family. I'm also glad this thread was read by his wife. Our thoughts are with all the family and friends.

Yes. Thank you for reaching out to us on the Corvette forum and giving us a little closure.
God bless you, your mother and all of Davids family and friends.

I hope the family is still reading this thread. I really appreciate the additional information.
I had a few good-natured arguments with him, but of course we kept it civilized. Like a lot of us, he had strong opinions sometimes.

May I also extend my condolences to David's family as well. He will truly be missed as the forum will not seem the same without him. GOD BLESS

Can anyone please give us a link to, or a copy of, the obituary for David. I think those who know him would appreciate seeing it. I know I would. I looked online, but wasn't able to find anything.
Thank you!
Thank you!
