It hurts me greatly to inform everyone that David aka Hameister passed away Tuesday afternoon around 3:30pm. He died of a heart attack. Ironically he was found in the garage floor laying next to his corvette. David was a father, a step father, a husband, a brother, and a friend. He was a smart, loving, caring, generous, genuine, funny, and sarcastic man. He was a corvette enthusiast to the max. He will be missed. His memories will be with us forever.
Who are you?

That's horrible news. Hammy was a great contributor to the C6gen forum and I've always had fun with his posts and threads. I feel for his family. He seemed like he was just getting started with having fun in retirement in Wellington. At least he got to own his dream car marry a great lady and live in paradise before he passed. RIP. Prayers sent to his family and friends. We will surely miss him here.

Oh no! I didn't want to hear that. David was enjoying a really fun time of his life with all his friends here on the forum. He certainly will be missed.

Probably a loved one that just got on to let us know about his passing. I doubt they want to be checking back in order to reply and read responses from a bunch of strangers that they have never talked to in their entire life. Especially about the passing of someone they cared for.
Or maybe it's just someone who let us know, read your comments, and is withholding that information in order to mess with you

Unexpected losses such as this one are never easy to accept or understand. My prayers will be joined with all others expressed here. I am certain that David will be remembered for many reasons and in many ways. Here on the Forum, he will live on in Hammy's GS Bar and Grill.
God Bless my brother.
