My deepest condolences go out to the family of David "Hameister". I didn't know him personally, but he was a great contributor this forum and his love for Corvettes really showed. He will be missed. God speed!

As others have said, David was well-respected and well-spoken here.
All of us will miss him for certain.

I am shocked and deeply saddened by this news. He stood out among the many great people I have I have associated with on this forum these past few years. He was articulate, knowledgeable, insightful and always willing to help a fellow enthusiast. He will be missed. My deepest condolences are extended to his wife and family. David .....don't forget the corvette wave in heaven.

It hurts me greatly to inform everyone that David aka Hameister passed away Tuesday afternoon around 3:30pm. He died of a heart attack. Ironically he was found in the garage floor laying next to his corvette. David was a father, a step father, a husband, a brother, and a friend. He was a smart, loving, caring, generous, genuine, funny, and sarcastic man. He was a corvette enthusiast to the max. He will be missed. His memories will be with us forever.
