Default Uncle Mack

Uncle Mack passed away back in October but we just recently stumbled across this 'In Memoriam' forum. He was a member of CF and also a member of the Brazos River CC. He had such a huge, kind and generous heart and was always helping others. He was always there for family, friends and also his church family who he cherished so much.

Uncle Mack LOVED his 2001 C5 Lingenfelter LS2. He searched and searched until he found his perfect 'go fast' car. He was the second owner and picked it up with 114k miles on it. The original owner installed an LS6 at 75k miles but Uncle Mack, in only 4k miles and less than 2 years, drove the LS6 a little too hard and killed it so at 118k miles he installed a Linngenfelter LS2 that was purchased from 21st Century Muscle Cars. My wife and I inherited Uncle Mack's C5 with 120k miles, with only 2k miles on the LS2. Uncle Mack really enjoyed all his rides and prior to his C5 he had 2 Vipers but just never liked the way they drove. He also owned several custom Harley's and Trikes that looked really cool sitting in his garage alongside his Vette.

We love you Uncle Mack and rest assured knowing that we'll take exceptional care of your C5. The LS6 ran 11.6 @ 119 in Texas but I'm sure we'll get in the 10's with this new LS2 beast out here in Northern Virginia. We really hope you dig the new license plate SAYUNCL that we got to show our respects to you <and because it's fast>. We know you're right there with us every time we take her out.
