First Time
I just drove a Corvette Z06. The experience was transcendent My life will never be the same. It was as if I was lost, and now I've been found. Blind and now can see. There was a moment when the heavens parted, angels descended, saw the car, then wept because the glory of it was so overwhelming.
The sound of the angry V8 violently blowing out awesomeness emits a growl that would make the biggest and bravest of all of us to take cover. Nothing can stop this beast. You can only hope to contain it.
I've driven a Ferrari 599, Porsche GT3, Lamborghini Gallardo, and Aston Martin Vanquish at speed. I'd pick the Z06 everyday of the week and twice on Sundays.
I would lie, steal, cheat, and give my first born to get one. Unfortunately, a retired man with stage 4 brain cancer makes it so that the closest I'll get to having one is a poster on my wall. It's not just on my bucket list. It is my bucket list.

Amazing to have had the experience that you had with all those cars. To be able to feel that level of amazement is unbelievable.
You have lived more than many on this earth my friend!
God Bless

n00bs!
You might take the time to learn the different sub-forums on here and what each one pertains to. This one is for mourning and remembering members, friends and others who have passed away. Not cool, and not off to a good start here.

Thanks. I re-read the ENTIRE post this time and I had missed the part about his battling cancer.
Trutifoso, I apologize. Post your location and if it's anywhere near me I'll come take you for a ride. It's only a C-4 but it IS a Vette!

Anybody know this guy? I have seen news stories about Harley people in rough shape, and 50 or 100 Harley's show up to spend time and cheer him up. Wouldn't it be great for a bunch of Corvettes to do something similar for him? No state or city shown in his profile.
