Default Phil's (Phillip50) Internment At Arlington

My best Corvette buddy and his wife Pauline were interned at Arlington National Cemetery yesterday. The 3rd US Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) did an outstanding job, a very memorable and emotionally moving experience. I don’t tear up much, but when Taps was played, I had a tough time holding it together.

His family invited members from his Corvette club, which was an honor for us to be there.

Photos really don’t do the experience any justice, if you’ve been to an internment, you know it is an event you’ll never forget.

My apologies for this late entry and my condolences to you OP and all.
Thank you for sharing the photos. It truly is very moving as I’ve experienced too many of these myself. Thank you again for taking the time to share with our community, and RIP Phil, Phillip50.
