I'm hoping I can get a little latitude from my fellow moderators for this post. It was just the right place to post.
Good evening all,
It is with great sadness I'm posting tonight on the passing of our Corvette brother and dear friend Mike Puzach, forum member mpuzach. Mike's wife reached out to me a little while ago to let me know. I'm absolutely in shock. Mike was my friend. Mike embodied everything that I love and hold dear about the Corvette lifestyle. He was a friend that I met because of the Corvette and this forum. That friendship grew into emails and dinners when we were together at Corvette events and endless hours on the phone. Mike's passion was the Corvette and equally as importantly, this forum and helping other owners in any way that he could. He would want you all to know. I asked Jana if it was ok to share here and she was grateful.
There aren't a lot of details to share. Mike and Jana went out to dinner with friends on Saturday evening and upon returning home, passed at some point in the night by Sunday morning.
I ask you to please share your stories and rememberences here as I would love to share them with his wife. Please keep her and Mike's family in your thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time.
Godspeed Mike.
Thanks,
Paul

Very, very sorry to hear this.
Mike and I got together several times to talk Corvettes because we just live a few miles apart. That would never have happened if he hadn't reached out to me. That just the kind of guy he was.
The first time we got together he gave me a Corvette pin too. Most here probably don't know that he was also a licensed pilot but hadn't flown n some time.
I will certainly miss him.

Geez - I just saw this - have not been in C6 general in a while. I remember him commenting on my avatar as he used to visit the dealer I got my corvette at when he was a kid. Sorry to hear he was a long time member here may he RIP. Condolences to family and friends.

I believe I may have been the last Corvette buyer Mike helped at Bud Clary. He was the one of the best Corvette enthusiasts I have known and hands down the best Corvette salesman I ever met. He helped me order my new 2018 Grand Sport and we had a great time discussing all the options, pro/con when placing the order. I was really looking forward to knowing Mike more.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family,

Never had the pleasure of meeting him but I always seen him on this site and respected his opinions. I'm sorry for his loss and prayers are sent to his family.

Never met Mike in person, but felt I knew him well on the forum. Always interesting posts and very knowledgeable on Corvette history. He will be missed! RIP

Funny, I was just thinking of that after we spoke on the phone the other week. I can still remember taking the plant tour with y'all.

Hi John - Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I tried a few times to get on the Forum, but honestly, it was too hard. He practically lived on here.
I'm actually selling the C7 now, so was looking on the Forum and decided to search his name. Yep, still hard.
Mike thought so highly of you. I know he considered you a real friend.
I hope you see this. Your comments mean the world to me.

Hi Paul,
Sorry it's been years... finally was able to get on here without losing it.
Thank you so much for your kind thoughts. I love what others have shared.
You've been a good and true friend, and I thank you and Becky for the great company at the Bash over the years. Mike valued your connection more than words can say.
I hope you are both well. Send me a PM if you want - I'll be on here a bit until I move.
Warmly,
Jana
