I have a 2001 Z06 that I bought 2 months ago with 2100 miles on it. I have driven it 120 miles since then. Last week the check engine light came on. I added about half a tank of gas and made sure the cap was tight. Last night I decided to fill it up to make sure that it had good gas. When the pump stopped, I noticed gas leaking in front of the driver side tire. It leaked for a bit, creating a puddle, and then stopped. It is not leaking in my garage, but there is a smell of gas. I am sure this is why the check engine light is on. Has anyone had a similar problem and where do I start?
