Hey gang,
Add another member to the list. (Where were you when I needed parts a few years ago?) I'm not going to pretend to be a mechanic. I'm just a lifetime user - always had a Vette in the family.
We parted with a 1969 Daytona Yellow hardtop convertible when I was young - broke my heart. But the 1977 remains - been in the family 30 years, and when the family patriarch decided it was time to let it go a few years ago, I put it back together and on the road. Hey, it's a family heirloom. (And that it was born the same month as my wife is kinda cool.)
I'm in automotive market research, so expect me to be asking questions!
I'm a rookie at this forum stuff, so please be gentle.
If I did it right, there's a pic with this thing in the avatar area (if I didn't bocth the thing.) If not, I'll try again 'til a picture appears.

A Big “HELLO” from Forest Hill, Maryland.
Welcome to the “Corvette Jungle” , where the Vette owners are always restless! Congratulations on being a Corvette Buff! Now drive America’s only “Exotic Muscle Sports Car Icon”, enjoy the fun, thrills and excitement. Feel the Vette V-8 power as often as possible, laugh and sing …I do, and I have the ”Corvette Smile” all the time. There is never enough Vette V-8 power driving time. I wish you many miles of “Corvette Smiles” with your ride.
Welcome. Nice ride - makes me feel realy old - but I guess I am (I still have my 1st Vette a '79 - I was 31 then) So you young guys have to be gentle withus old guys
