Hello from Southwest Florida
Hello- I just signed up the other day. I have a 2007 Z06. I had a 2001 Z06 I took delivery of in August 2000. Kept it for about a year and a half. When I was younger my Dad had one of the first 1990 ZR-1s, and a 1974 Corvette. I am a driving instructor for a couple of different clubs and also help teach a driving school with Derek and Justin Bell. I have a small collection of Porsches (currently 7) and a few other cars. I am in the process of totally outfitting my Z06 for the track. So far I have CCW wheels and Hoosiers. I tried performance pads with the stock brakes, but after 1400 miles its time for the stock brakes to go. Following that, seats, harnesses, etc. I think this is one of the most informative forums I have followed, having belonged first to Lamborghini talk, then some german car forums. I have learned a lot so far and look forward to a lot of valuable Corvette knowledge here.
