hello all...
just got my first vette today - 2004 | z06! worked really hard, it took some time but i finally got it!
my father and brother both had vette's - now its my turn...haha
anyone know of a corvette car club in chicago or near by? i live downtown...

Welcome to the forum You'll find plenty of clubs in the Chi area. It would probably be wise to visit several and see which one suits your likes and dislikes. Take you time and look around. Picking a good club is almost as tedious as picking your first Vette.

thanks for the warm welcome all!!! i've been on several car forums - this seems like my kind of online community...
when i woke up this morning and went to my garage i thought someone mistakenly parked in my spot! haha...it was a good feeling to realize that was MY bad *** vette sitting there!
roscoe, i noticed you had a picture of a bike as your avatar...i've been riding bikes since before i got my drivers license...i ride an hd fatboy with 18" apes, bored out engine, and tons of other mods...that was my first expensive hobby...now i got to work on my car
