Default 2007 Convertible loose rear view mirror
My rear view mirror has come loose and I can't find anything on how to tighten it up. Anyone else had this problem?

Hey, don't look now, but you posted in the wrong place. j/k You should be in C6 General.

Anyway, yea, common problem. There is no "easy" fix and no adjustment. The mirror mechanism is basically "cheap". Here are some threads with info for you. You either buy a new mirror ( big bucks) or get handy with the DIY fix. Good luck.

OH......forgot to mention. It's talked about in the referenced threads but I want to emphasize the point.......DON'T start the car with the mirror unplugged. Others have reported that it erases the programming from all of the car's computers and it is expensive, difficult and a pain to get everything reprogrammed.
