New meat from the land of Mopar.....
In the process of buying a 2000 Vette....been lurking around several Vette forums and this one seems to be active with members who know their poop and get along well...
As my title says I am a Mopar guy but have a history with Vettes having owned an 1985 & 86 convertible.......
I currently own a 2006 Dodge Ram SRT10 regular cab that has been heavily modded....I am hesitantly selling the truck due to having knee problems that are being aggrevated by the clutch....
I have a freind that is a buyer for a multi brand dealership....he has a 2000 Vette with 40K miles that he is offering to me for about $8K below blue book private party....car has been a garage queen that was never driven in rain.....
My truck has been a garage queen herself.....I intend to use the Vette as a DD but also plan to make her a 11 second track warrior with the help of this forum.....
My long range plans include buying a used 2011 Challenger 6.4 Hemi in a yr or 2....just because of past experiences....but that is another story..
Lookin forward to getting to know you guys and modding the Vette....

You found a good place to land.
I too come from the land of Mopars..a strange and wonderful land it is..
But all of mine were of the 60's (OK maybe a couple of 1970 thrown in)
Had I know what they were worth back then I would be driving new ZR1's now

...I picked the Vette up today....going to drive it a couple days to check it out....really liking it!!!..
