Hello and thanks this forum has already been very helpful in figuring out what the heck is what on this thing. The wife and I have always loved Corvette's and when her father decided to sell his due to his fishing boat being his priority we got one good deal on a great car. It needs some work we are putting new carpet in at the end of the month and a few other things. But it is a solid matching numbers car that runs and drives great. I have replaced several vacume hoses and have many more to go but it is a lot of fun. I don't know who this Lars guy is but I need to get him over to my garage sometime!! I know some dog on late 70's vetts but thats okay I am going to put way more money in this thing than I will ever get out but I really want to see it look and run like it just rolled off the line, maybe with a few extra ponies if u know what I mean

I am 34 and my wife is 30 and we were blessed to get one when we are young enough to enjoy it, no offence to anybody, but u know what i am talking about damn things sit on the road, I can roll in and out. I will try and keep my stupid questions in the appropriate threads!
