Just ordered my C7 Z51 LT3 Torch Red Convertible!
Yes!!!!!!!!!!! I've been waiting over a year now to place my order! My preliminary order was placed yesterday, November 2, 2013. Now just have to wait to see if GM slips it in early or if I have to wait for the Dealer's scheduled allocation date.
This will be my 2nd Vette. My first, a 1969 Stingray Convertible, had to be sold back in 1986 so I could finish the construction of my first house.
I've had lots of cars since my last Vette, but there's nothing like a Corvette! When I heard they were bringing the Stingray back, I just had to have one!
I thought it would be cool to journal my pre-delivery and delivery experiences here, so I will be updating. Soon I hope!

Thanks for your replies everyone. As of Monday, Nov. 4th my status is:
ORDER# RKDKV5 with the event code of 1100.
Guess I'll have to keep my fingers crossed until I receive a 2000 code!

Thank you for contacting Chevrolet regarding your 2014 Corvette Stingray order. We apologize for the delay in our response. We have received a large number of inquiries since our initial shipment announcement. We are working as hard as we can to provide the latest updates.
We realized the Chevrolet Tracker on our website, www.chevrolet.com, was not providing the most appropriate information. We have temporarily shut the system down for tracking Corvette Stingray orders. At this time, we have not established a date or time when this tracking system will be available again to consumers.
As of November 8, 2013, the status of Order Number RKDKV5 is the following:
Order has been placed by your dealership and accepted by Chevrolet and is now in line for production. This process can take time, is subject to change, and does not mean that the vehicle is physically being built at this time. The next step in the process will be the assignment of a Target Production Week (TPW). However, at this time a TPW is not available for this order.
At this time, Corvette Stingray convertible models are scheduled to arrive in dealerships late this year. We recommend keeping in contact with your selling dealership for updates as to when your vehicle will be delivered. We apologize for any inconvenience.
We appreciate your patience and recognize the high amount of anticipation for the 2014 Corvette Stingray.

So, here it is November 20th and I'm still sitting at 1100. I've sold my Harley and other toys so I could buy this car cash. Now that I've got my money together, I'm really itching! Hope I get some movement soon.
