After 22 years, I finally bought another Vette
Just joined the forums and thought I'd say hello to everyone. Hello everyone!!!
I was fortunate to own a red on red 1985 4+3 from the age of 18-21. I was raised a Vette lover, my dad has owned a '62,'63 split window, '73, '78, '93, and '94. He only has the '94 now and regrets selling the others too early(especially the '62 and '63...lol).
I always wanted to buy a birth year Vette and finally did it last week. I found a '71 LT-1 with 53k original miles and needless to say, I'm excited. It took me 22 years to get another Vette, but I shoulda, coulda, woulda done it sooner. I just finally realized I was missing something in my life...lol.
Here is a link to my car if anyone wants to have a look.

Thanks for reading and I'll try to frequent the forums as often as possible, Jerry

That is a drop dead gorgeous car. I'd wager if I pulled up in my C7 and you pulled up in that '71, your car would get the majority of the public's attention. A stunning car you have!

Thanks for all the compliments and kind words.
I'm still waiting to take delivery on the car and it's
killing me...lol. There were a few things that were
agreed on before the deal was complete and they
need a few more days to get it done. I should have
the car on Friday or Saturday, until then I'll just be
consumed with thoughts of this car 24/7...lol, but true.
Thanks again, Jerry

Thanks again for the kind words and welcoming me to the forum.
I must admit that I'm in over my head...lol. I've always considered myself a good driver, but being mechanically inclined was never my forte'.
Needless to say, I stand to learn a lot from the members on this board.
Still waiting on my Vette by the way. It's looking like Saturday or early next week. I've never been known for my patience, so yes, this is killing me.
