Default Greetings... C7 convertible or C6 427 Convertible... Help...

I owned a 2006 C6 several years ago and I came within minutes of ordering a C7 last winter but decided to wait. Now I am ready to buy but am undecided between a 2013 427 convertible or a new C7 convertible.

I know I'll continue research and make my decision, but I would really like to hear from you guys and your thoughts pro and con. The money is probably going to be about $10K more for the new C7.

I appreciate your input!

Welcome aboard, you know, they both would look good next to each other in your garage.

Well the C6 will always be great and the 427 convertible will be forever cool, but the 427 might be harder to find later. C7s are just coming out, and by that I mean on the streets. I saw 2 C7s within an hour driving around town last week. So as time progresses more will pop up. So one will be more rare while the other is going to be more common. Both extremely cool though.

C7s are awesome, and while a C6 Z06 that I drove was one of the most fun cars I have driven (judged because of the cam, headers, and all of the other mods …aka pure power…)…then if they say that the C7 is way better than a C6…well, then I can only imagine what a C7 is like.

I like the C6s, I really want an inferno orange C6 GS with tan interior to match my 1972 Corvette. But I really like the C7s, and I suppose IF I had the money to get last years model or a new Vette…I would go with the new one.

But in all honesty, you can't loose. Both are a really cool car. You will love either one.

Best of luck with the choice.

Thanks. I'm going to take a closer look at the 427 today.

I had a 2006 C6... Can someone tell me what improvements I would see in the 2013 C6 over the 2006?

Does anyone else have any thoughts? This is an expensive decision so I want to make an informed one... Maybe I should put the thread in another spot on the forum so more would see it and reply. There has to be a lot of opinions on this. Thanks.
