My heart goes out to this guy. Forum member "Fathergill" is looking for this orange 1977 C3 Corvette. This was once his mother's car. She just passed away, and now Fathergill is trying to locate it.

There are sites that you can join like Publicdata.com where you can type in the VIN and find information. My wife's car got hit by a guy in a parking lot and he left the scene, but somebody saw his license plate, and i used this site to find him. However, they do not have all of the states. I tried your VIN on the ones they have and did not find a match. The states i was able to try were: Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming. Try and find other sites, and for a $25 per month membership you can find out tons of info. Sorry i could not find anything in those states.

Thank you, last known address was West Virginia , the man said his daughter sold the car to someone in Kansas City on eBay. At that point the vin number got entered incorrect, lost trial.

You can go on Ebay and look up Ebay Members with the name Evadog2. Then you can contact that person via ebay. Looks like he lives in the U.K. Adding screen shot of Evadog2 on ebay where you can contact them.
