Hello From Ohio. Oh My, What Have I Done???
Hi,
This is Scott from Ohio, just joined the forum. My entry into Corvette ownership was very quick and quite surprising. I'd been looking for some type of open top sports car. Looked at a 1988 MB 560SL, a 1993 Jag XJS , and a couple others. On my way to look at the Jag I spotted a 1985 Corvette Coupe with 64,000 miles at a Ford dealership. Mind you I had not driven driven a Vette in 20 years or so.
Long story short I drove it and bought it the next day. I had it checked out at a local Chevy dealer before purchase and aside from a few relatively minor issues it passed inspection and I am thrilled!!! The body and paint are excellent and the interior very good.
I'm very excited to be part of the forum and to gain access all the knowledge here. I have much to learn!

Congrats Scott!! A very nice, clean looking Vette you scored. My first Vette was a C4 too!

Thanks WICKEDFRC. I just cannot believe the prices these cars are selling for. There was no way I was not going to buy it! The Ford dealer had it for a week and were about to take it to auction. Just didn't want it on their lot I guess.

dahogan I am in Napoleon, OH about 40 miles west of Toledo. If I hear of any shows I'll let you know for sure.
