Contemplating getting back into a Vette
Hi all. After several years of a 2 seater not being an option, I'm at a point in life where having a Vette as a secondary car is a possibility again. In my early 20s, I owned a '78 and then a '85 that I did a cam upgrade / ported heads and intake and long tubes on. I really liked that car but always wished it was a stick.
I'm hoping to pick up a C4 ZR-1. I spent a lot of time drooling over them as a kid and luckily for me, prices haven't skyrocketed like many predicted when they were new. Unfortunately, I waited until the bottom dropped out on the Canadian dollar to start looking so importing one is going to be prohibitively expensive.
I'll be lurking around here plenty and learning everything I can.

Nice thing is, you can get yourself a well equipped ZR1 in NICE condition with low miles for about what you'd spend on your average small to mid size "regular" car.
