New member - Celebration Florida
Hello all
So last month, my good friend Bill Hubbell asked me to co-drive his beautiful DP at the FARA race in Homestead. I had the opportunity to get some seat time in the car at Daytona during the annual Celebration Exotic Car Festival in April, then Bill and I had a great weekend in Homestead including a 1st in one of the sprint races and a hard-fought 4th in the endurance race.
I fell in love with that car, and knew that somehow I had to have one... Fortunately, a 2013 Coyote DP came available, and incredibly, it was chassis number 4, and competed as race number 4 - the same number I have been racing with since the late 80's. And it was orange, my favorite color. It was meant to be!
The car was delivered to me this past Thursday, and I'm so excited I can hardly sleep! First time on the track will be at Watkins Glen in June.
A huge THANK YOU to Bill for getting me hooked!

Beautiful car and beautiful home.
I am jealous of you living in celebration, it looks like a nice little town when I've driven through. Great location too, I would love to be able to run over to Epcot and grab some dinner at World Showcase whenever I felt like it.

I'm jealous too, if having a DP wasn't enough, being able to live in Celebration is like a kick in the nuts for us mortals that are Disney fans.

Welcome to the forums and GREAT Vette you've got there. Talk about an exclusive club to be in. That's AWESOME! Celbration FL? I'm in Ocala and get down that way often. Maybe I'll see you rippin by in the fast lane on 75 sometime? LOL

WOW, what a car /racer....... I go to all the TUDOR races at the Glen.
I'll be at the Corvette corral with my Torch Red 2015 Z06...

While I am obviously a C3 guy, I have a true appreciation for all Corvettes. The racing heritage is the cornerstone of Corvette for me. Your car is certainly one that I would aspire to have one day. It looks like a blast to drive ... although I am in the novice category. Congrats!!!

Would you mind telling what kind of transmission this car is fitted with? The reason for asking is that I’m looking for a suitable transaxle that could handle the power from an LS7 engine that is to be fitted in a mid-engine kit car.
